Sunday, August 01, 2004 Whoa. How time flies. This time round, I guess I will have to restrict my blogging to like once a week? Or maybe even twice a week. Really, really have to mug. My CT results are like shit and if anything I better make this shit into a nice pile of erm … fragrant thingy?
O well. I feel kinda weird. It’s like this time last year, I was informed of my numerous portfolios, and this time round, I am shedding them layer by layer. First debates, next NPCC and then in a matter of days or maybe a week the last layer will be shed – MOOR house. The whole week has gone by, full of surprises, excitement and of course a little disappointment. I dunno why, but the best part or the most interesting part of the week always fall on a Friday or a Saturday. Maybe coz it marks the end of the week. (For the record – this lifeless creature here dun get much of a life on Sunday – contrary to what some ppl think). But really, I think only 2 things r worth blogging. Yesterday’s POP (not ‘POP’ like how Kamariah would put it but POP as in Passing Out Parade’) and of course who could forget that WONDERFUL drama feste experience over Friday & Saturday. Since POP isn’t something tt is worth talking about … maybe we should skip it. O well. Maybe we shouldn’t. After all, who could forget the photo taking of our boots? The polishing of our boots in the 3D classroom. LOL. O well. M a sgt. Shant really delve into the nitty-gritty. What’s over is over. And I am out of NPCC. Officially. Ah. But I lost my water bottle. Is RI filled with thieves? Which reminds me … the other weekdays haven’t been really uneventful after all. Played some CID work over Wed & Thurs. 40 odd tshirts missing. Skipped the first period of Thursday investigating and interrogating. O well. The investigation is passed over to Jee Nee now. About 31 tshirts are returned. Sigh. Must they really steal? On a happier note now, Drama Feste came. It was really, really enjoyable and a nice experience. Damnit! Why din they have 1 last year? Erm. The Emcees sucked big time though. Other than tt … it was great. Congrats zul! … The other houses did great … though for Morrison not being in the top 3 was unfortunate indeed. But really … I have great admiration for the actors … it really is difficult to put in so much and for it all to be gone in a matter of ½ hr and some time really … you r doing it to win but yet u still don’t. For Moor house. I guess it was bittersweet. All of us … we so wanted to get tt shield … after such a long time … But like I always say, what matters ultimately is tt u guys gave it ur best and the best thing of all was the reception from the audience! Seriously … I was afraid how it would turn out for the audience … after a 180 degrees turn from Azizul’s comedy. But after going thru so many rehearsals (not as many as JonK or the rest I muz admit) I was still like WOW on the final performance. Sam Jo … Congrats on winning best actor on ur debut performance. Using great for ur portrayal of the protagonist is like … an understatement … Really … I am really impressed And Cheng Chai … Ur wonderful script really saved the day for our house … Great effort! I dun ever noe how to thank you for ur commitment to the house and to this whole drama feste … Congrats on u winning wat u always wanted – the reception from the audience and a meeting of Mrs Albar (haha. Actually best script) And to the other 2 leads … Mitchell & Isaac … the both of u were really fantastic too … thank u for all the late nights tt u guys put in and of course this goes to the rest of the cast and crew :D I really dun noe wat to say. Some said our play is in a different class … Some said it is bound to win. If Auyong can be trusted … we r 2nd … by a narrow margin of 2 points … How true it is I dun noe … But I would say we stand a good chance :D So there u haf it. Another chapter of my life closed. I wasn’t really helping much over the whole course of df … I noe … I wasn’t in the crew … I noe. Yea, and I am really sorry I couldn’t commit so much to drama feste … Sigh. So now. Another mission accomplished. We have to move on to bigger things in life don’t we? And for now … it is the house championships and the ever looming O levels & Prelims.
