Have been really busy these days – with inter house debates and the selections of various positions for various ccas. Guess the key things that have been happening since I last blogged are centered on Friday & Saturday.

O well. Friday wasn’t exactly a good day. We lost inter-house debates finals … making me play second fiddle to Suhas AGAIN. And sadly got 5th for inter house humans quiz. Very sad. Our first 5th (and hopefully last) and 2nd for moor aesthetics. Some f**ker even come forth and gloat about this – the worse thing is this guy is from moor. Wat’s his problem I really dun noe. He definitely needs someone to knock some sense into him – and I hope tt it is done literally. O well. Tactical errors on our part. Made some mistakes. Will have debrief and mtg about these losses on Tuesday – we cannot let this continue. The whole year have been going quite well for us. To stop now would b a damn big waste.

Ah … went through another mundane exercise for interviews again. This time would be npcc. Actually, I wont say tt it is mundane. It was quite funny actually. What’s with the sudden outbursts (laughter – not anger) and the extremely funny responses. (actually it wasn’t funny – but some1 or I would make a joke out of their remarks all of a sudden) And of course there was the frequent poking fun of each other – especially our dear and ‘great’ accal. Lol. But of course, at the end of the day, we went with a mission. And I must add mission accomplished. New committee has been chosen. Not supposed to tell. Yea. So I guess I am keeping quiet (for now).

O well. Damn pissed wif my dad. Same old thing again. The other time it was common test. This time it is prelims. O well. He grounded me – coz he says I m not studying hard enough. O well – It really is difficult for me to do so wif him breathing down my neck (figuratively – thank god) once I m home. Wat a nag. Even wif prelims, we still need some entertainment, don’t we? Havent told him bout df. I think he will flip when he hear of it. O well. No choice. Hafta do my job as vice capt still.

Sigh. I have gotten my df tickets. Have U? Haha.

I am on the verge of closing down this blog ... it has been a great distraction lately. O but dun worry ... for ppl like navjote, suhas etc. Yea ... i still owe a tribute to the team. I guess this hafta wait. Yea, i m a procrastinator. Sorry bout tt. Will try to complete it b4 prelims. Yea ... i promise to get it done b4 closing this blog down k? ... haha
 
O well. AGM was yesterday ... which means I officially m no longer vice-chairman of debates anymore. It was a memoradble moment, bringing back tons of memories. Ah. And Jonathan Auyong Kok Kong officially took over my duties wef 19 July 2004 5 pm. And Jing Song is chairman. Terence is the secretary. Yea i noe ... maybe it is a shock ... but lyke i always say, there are no certainties in life. No problem, i believe tt this team can work well together and hopefully defend the very shield that sits in the trophy cabinet at admin office. Supposed to advise u guys on fitting into ur roles and i guess i do owe you guys lots of documents. Hopefully i can get it done ASAP.
 
Which reminds me. I owe lots of teachers stuff. Not hw ... but cca stuff. O boy. Haf to get it done too. ASAP.
 
Interhse debates on coming friday. Helping the team on their cases. THB in Auspicium Melioris Aevi. lol. Moor 1 proposing agst Bayley 2. M adjudicating 3rd-4th too. AND if u havent heard ... THW go wif powerpuff girls more than tellytubbies. Undoubtedly stupid ... haha but guess it will do. We haf to b unconventional sometimes u noe ((:
 
Sigh. Got lots of stuff to do. Will blog more in a couple of days time or later. Haf decided to do the tribute in a few parts - the new (juniors), the present (my fellow sec 4s) and the old (haha. the seniors). Yea. and juz heard abt mrs smith's condition. O well. Got auyong to buy a card. Will get it signed. tt's all. Shall move on to doing stuff* now.

Seriously. It hasn't been a good week. I have been screwing up my CTs and yet i spend ONE ENTIRE WEEK on debates. staying till lyke 7? 8? to adjudicate, watch or debate - something tt i havent done since our finals. Sigh - not tt the others are not - ppl lyke jonk & ccc ... all putting in so much effort for df ... really appreciate it :)

Anywae ... i still do not noe how well (or bad) i did for SS/Hist which happens to b my only humans ... but o well for the rest? I haf been getting every single grade save F9 and E8 and C6 (and m planning to keep it tt way). 1 A1 (el), 1 A2 (bio), 1 b3 (e math), 1 b4 (chem - which mrs yau says MUST WORK HARDER), 2 C5s (phy & a math) ... yea ... i m stupid i guess. sigh. muz mug more. how demoralising. SIGH.

As for interhse debates, I haf seen a wide spectrum of debaters - from the good to the horrible - which shames even the word 'debating'. O well, but lyke ppl so nicely reminded and said to me, it is INTER HOUSE. SUPPOSEDLY amateur. Not to mention names though. but o well. Moor 1 entered semis. M pretty pleased bout tt. I do take credit for tt. haha. no lah. i guess the debaters all worked hard. Well done & all the way man.

I pulled moor 2 out today. Joint decision made by jonk & auyong & myself. After losing 2 debates, their chances of entering semis is zilch. AND we haf a lack of members. Thought of giving them a walkover. But of course, dear suhas reminded me of the rule he got terence to add this yr - in event of a team not showing up, the other team will meet the swing team - supposedly us. Hullett then complained, saying it is an auto loss. and mrs neoh, of course, forever being so nice, got ee kuan to join our team and zul made me do a 3rd and suhas a 1st. How horribly funny. not bcoz we were doing our unaccustommed positions but coz blardy suhas cracked jokes and insulted almost the entire opp. Damn him. Of course tt set the tone for me and i did some insulting as well - putting on a pretty bitchy front - though admittedly i dun do it as well as my dear chariman.

Of course. the debates today were horribly funny. even the moor vs buckley one and hullett vs bayley.

O well. At least they had a sense of humour - was it intentational - highly doubtful. haha. anywae. semis 2ml. M chief adjudicator for bayley vs bayley one. n moor's facing hullett. the same hullett tt faced us just (us = swing team). O well. I do hope they win (they = moor).

yay ... my dad bought a new modem ((: Went to watch The Best Bet wif my family today (haha ... my dad was in a good mood today ... and western shows dun really appeal to him ... and hence the choice ... though a little late for it) ... It was quite funny really ... but a little bit far-fetched - in my opinion. Half the movie was in the form of a dream - and tt was the surprise a actually - coz they really din put it in the reviews - which was good - really.

O well. 2ml's hse meeting 5. Quite sad really. After 6 hse meetings (5 this yr & 1 last yr) conducted by us ... it really brings back memories of how we always try to bring in different elements - i hope every1 have enjoyed coming for house meeting ((: 2ml will be the last conducted by us and of course we will try to make it as special as possible --> it will b diff - trust me! haha.

O yar ... hse debates r starting 2ml too. Not very pleased wif the progress. screwed up rules - and extremely UNWRITTEN. Adjudicators' schedule not fixed. Comm not knowing wat is going on. Extremely terrible. Extremely disappointing too. And it is not only me. It is shang, suhas and imran - hu haf complained so far. Sigh. They need more discipline. NOT GOOD.

Sigh. Many things r coming to an end. And there are many things tt i soon will not be in charge of. I cant always poke my nose, fingers, head ... wtv into watever they do. They juz hafta learn i guess. If they need my help, i can give it to them - but they need to work hard themselves.

Sigh. There is nothing i can do if they dun work hard for it i guess.

damnnit. m using my dad's macintosh now - albeit secretly. my blardy modem screwed up. was writing an entry when the damn comp hanged. screw it man. If i m not on msn - no. i m not mugging - pc modem screwed up. lol

o well. Cts over. damn the CTs. Out to kill. I think sentiments r voiced over most of the sec 4s' blogs. So i guess i wont delve on it.

many things happened over the past few days.

1. hooked to table soccer. though m really lousy at it - wong khai says i m improving. haha. and marcus says if junyi plays in attacking his partner has to do both defence and attack. hahaha. never mind. still fun to relieve stress. :P

2. candidates chosen. taking care of the final lap of house issues b4 handing over. i think all of them r showing much promise. i hope they can bring the house to b the best tt they can be. m so proud of the newly updated board - u hafta agree tt it is nice dun u ... haha. i did it to relieve stress - glad it came out well :P. unfortunately the school has decided to pull the boards down by the end of this year. DAMN THEm. juz becoz others dun make good use of the board doesnt mean me - MOOR dun use our board k. How UNREASONABLE. Damn them.

3. Debates. Spent a couple of hours writing the article for news from ri wif shang. i think it is beautifully written - coz most of it is by shang. haha. dont miss the up and coming issue :). Interhouse debates coming real soon - havent gotten the schedule. GET IT REAL SOON PLEASE!
